Give Thanks for His Loyal Love

1Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loyal love endures forever.

2Let Israel now say: “His loyal love endures forever.”

3Let the house of Aaron now say: “His loyal love endures forever.”

4Let those who fear Yahweh now say: “His loyal love endures forever.”

5Out of the narrow place I called to Yah; Yah answered me in a broad place.

6Yahweh is for me; I will not fear. What can a human do to me?

7Yahweh is for me, among my helpers; and I myself will look in triumph on those who hate me.

8It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in a human.

9It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in nobles.

10All nations surrounded me; in the name of Yahweh I surely cut them off.

11They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me; in the name of Yahweh I surely cut them off.

12They surrounded me like bees; they were extinguished like a fire of thorns; in the name of Yahweh I surely cut them off.

13You pushed me hard, to make me fall, but Yahweh helped me.

14My strength and my song is Yah, and he has become my salvation.

15The sound of ringing joy and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: “The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly!

16The right hand of Yahweh is exalted; the right hand of Yahweh does valiantly!”

17I will not die, but I will live, and I will recount the deeds of Yah.

18Yah disciplined me severely, but he did not give me over to death.

19Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter through them, I will give thanks to Yah.

20This is the gate of Yahweh; the righteous shall enter through it.

21I will give you thanks, for you answered me, and you have become my salvation.

22The stone the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.

23This came from Yahweh; it is marvelous in our eyes.

24This is the day that Yahweh has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

25O please, Yahweh, save now! O please, Yahweh, grant success now!

26Blessed is the one who comes in the name of Yahweh; we bless you from the house of Yahweh.

27Yahweh is God, and he has given us light; bind the festival sacrifice with cords, up to the horns of the altar.

28You are my God, and I will give you thanks; my God, I will exalt you.

29Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loyal love endures forever.
