Psalms 146

The AIT Bible

My Soul Will Praise Yahweh

1Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, O my soul!

2I will praise Yahweh while I live; I will make music to my God while I still exist.

Do Not Trust in Mortals

3Do not put your trust in nobles, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.

4His breath goes out, he returns to his ground; on that day his plans perish.

Blessed Are Those Who Trust Yahweh

5Blessed is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in Yahweh his God—

6the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps faith forever;

7who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives bread to the hungry. Yahweh sets prisoners free;

8Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind, Yahweh lifts up those who are bowed down, Yahweh loves the righteous;

9Yahweh watches over the sojourners; he sustains the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he makes crooked.

10Yahweh will reign forever, your God, O Zion, from generation to generation. Praise Yah!
