A Plea of a Blameless Heart
1Of David. Vindicate me, Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity, and in Yahweh I have trusted without wavering.
2Examine me, Yahweh, and test me; refine my kidneys and my heart.
3For your loyal love is before my eyes, and I have walked about in your faithfulness.
4I have not sat with worthless men, and with hypocrites I do not go.
5I hate the assembly of evildoers, and with the wicked I do not sit.
6I wash my hands in innocence, and I go about your altar, Yahweh,
7to sound aloud a voice of thanksgiving, and to recount all your wondrous deeds.
8Yahweh, I love the habitation of your house, and the place where your glory dwells.
9Do not gather up my life with sinners, nor my life with men of bloodshed,
10in whose hands is a wicked scheme, and whose right hand is full of a bribe.
11But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; redeem me and be gracious to me.
12My foot stands on level ground; in the assemblies I will bless Yahweh.
