1And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:
2Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them: When you come into the land of your dwellings, which I am giving to you,
3and you make a fire offering to Yahweh — a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a special vow or as a freewill offering, or at your appointed feasts — to produce a pleasing aroma to Yahweh from the herd or from the flock,
4then the one presenting his offering to Yahweh shall present a grain offering of fine flour, a tenth of an ephah, mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil.
5And wine for the drink offering, a quarter of a hin, you shall prepare with the burnt offering or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.
6Or for a ram you shall prepare a grain offering of fine flour, two-tenths, mixed with a third of a hin of oil.
7And wine for the drink offering, a third of a hin, you shall present as a pleasing aroma to Yahweh.
8And when you prepare a bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a special vow, or as peace offerings to Yahweh,
9then he shall present with the bull a grain offering of fine flour, three-tenths, mixed with half a hin of oil.
10And wine you shall present for the drink offering, half a hin — a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to Yahweh.
11Thus it shall be done for each ox, or for each ram, or for a lamb among the sheep or among the goats.
12According to the number that you prepare, so shall you do for each one, according to their number.
13Every native-born shall do these things in this way, to present a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to Yahweh.
14And when a sojourner sojourns with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and he makes a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to Yahweh — as you do, so shall he do.
15For the assembly there shall be one statute for you and for the sojourner who sojourns, an everlasting statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the sojourner be before Yahweh.
16One law and one ordinance shall be for you and for the sojourner who sojourns with you.
17And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:
18Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them: When you come into the land to which I am bringing you,
19then it shall be, when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall lift up a contribution to Yahweh.
20The first of your dough you shall lift up as a contribution, a cake; like the contribution from the threshing floor, so shall you lift it up.
21From the first of your dough you shall give to Yahweh a contribution throughout your generations.
22And when you go astray and do not do all these commandments that Yahweh spoke to Moses—
23all that Yahweh commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that Yahweh commanded and onward throughout your generations—
24then it shall be, if it was done inadvertently, out of the sight of the congregation, that all the congregation shall prepare one young bull from the herd as a burnt offering, for a pleasing aroma to Yahweh, with its grain offering and its drink offering according to the ordinance, and one male goat as a sin offering.
25And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, for it was inadvertent; and they have brought their offering, a fire offering to Yahweh, and their sin offering before Yahweh, for their inadvertent sin.
26And it shall be forgiven to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and to the sojourner who sojourns among them, for it happened to all the people through inadvertence.
27And if one person sins inadvertently, then he shall present a female goat a year old as a sin offering.
28And the priest shall make atonement for the person who erred by sinning inadvertently before Yahweh, to make atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.
29For the native-born among the sons of Israel and for the sojourner who sojourns among them — you shall have one law for the one who acts inadvertently.
30But the person who acts with a high hand, whether native-born or sojourner, blasphemes Yahweh, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.
31Because he has despised the word of Yahweh and broken his commandment, that person shall surely be cut off; his iniquity is upon him.”
32While the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
33Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation,
34and they placed him in custody, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him.
35Then Yahweh said to Moses, “The man shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.”
36So all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died, as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
37And Yahweh said to Moses, saying:
38“Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them that they are to make for themselves tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put on the tassel of each corner a cord of blue.
39It shall be a tassel for you, and when you look at it you shall remember all the commandments of Yahweh and do them, and not go about after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you go whoring.
40So that you may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.
41I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God. I am Yahweh your God.”
