And this is the thing that you shall do for them to consecrate them to serve me as priests: Take one bull, a young of the herd, and two rams without blemish,
and unleavened bread, and unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil; you shall make them of fine wheat flour.
And you shall put them in one basket and bring them near in the basket, along with the bull and the two rams.
And Aaron and his sons you shall bring near to the entrance of the tent of meeting, and you shall wash them with water.
And you shall take the garments and clothe Aaron with the tunic and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod and the breastpiece, and you shall gird him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
And you shall set the turban on his head, and place the holy crown on the turban.
And you shall take the anointing oil and pour it on his head, and anoint him.
And his sons you shall bring near, and clothe them with tunics.
And you shall gird them with sashes—Aaron and his sons—and bind headdresses on them, and the priesthood shall be theirs by a perpetual statute. And you shall fill the hand of Aaron and the hand of his sons.
And you shall bring the bull near before the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull.
And you shall slaughter the bull before Yahweh at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
And you shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and all the rest of the blood you shall pour out at the base of the altar.
And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and turn them into smoke on the altar.
But the flesh of the bull, and its hide, and its dung you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering.
And you shall take the one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.
And you shall slaughter the ram, and take its blood and dash it against the altar all around.
And you shall cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its entrails and its legs, and put them with its pieces and with its head,
and turn the whole ram into smoke on the altar. It is a burnt offering to Yahweh, a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to Yahweh.
And you shall take the second ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.
And you shall slaughter the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear and on the lobe of the right ear of his sons, and on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot; and you shall dash the blood against the altar all around.
And you shall take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and on his garments, and on his sons and on the garments of his sons with him; and he shall be consecrated—he and his garments, and his sons and the garments of his sons with him.
And you shall take from the ram the fat and the fat tail, and the fat that covers the entrails, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and the right thigh—for it is a ram of ordination—
and one round loaf of bread, and one cake of oil bread, and one wafer, from the basket of unleavened bread that is before Yahweh.
And you shall place all of it on the palms of Aaron and on the palms of his sons, and wave them as a wave offering before Yahweh.
And you shall take them from their hands and turn them into smoke on the altar upon the burnt offering, as a pleasing aroma before Yahweh; it is an offering by fire to Yahweh.
And you shall take the breast of the ram of ordination that is for Aaron, and wave it as a wave offering before Yahweh; and it shall be your portion.
And you shall consecrate the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution, which was waved and which was raised up, from the ram of ordination, from that which is Aaron’s and from that which is his sons’.
And it shall be for Aaron and his sons as a perpetual due from the sons of Israel, for it is a contribution; and it shall be a contribution from the sons of Israel from their peace-offering sacrifices, their contribution to Yahweh.
And the holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them and to have their hand filled in them.
Seven days the priest who is in his place from among his sons shall wear them—he who enters the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.
You shall take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in a holy place.
And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket, at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
They shall eat the things by which atonement was made, to ordain them and to consecrate them; but an outsider shall not eat, for they are holy.
And if any of the flesh of the ordination or of the bread remains until the morning, you shall burn what remains in the fire; it shall not be eaten, for it is holy.
So you shall do for Aaron and for his sons, according to all that I have commanded you; for seven days you shall ordain them.
And a bull as a sin offering you shall offer each day for the atonement; and you shall purify the altar by making atonement upon it, and you shall anoint it to consecrate it.
For seven days you shall make atonement upon the altar and consecrate it; then the altar shall be most holy—whatever touches the altar shall become holy.
Now this is what you shall offer upon the altar: two lambs a year old, day by day, continually.
The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the second lamb you shall offer at twilight.
And with the one lamb a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of beaten oil, and a drink offering of a quarter of a hin of wine.
And the second lamb you shall offer at twilight; you shall offer it with a grain offering like that of the morning and with its drink offering, as a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to Yahweh.
It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before Yahweh, where I will meet with you, to speak with you there.
There I will meet with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by my glory.
And I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; and Aaron and his sons I will consecrate to serve me as priests.
And I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel, and I will be their God.
And they shall know that I am Yahweh their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell in their midst; I am Yahweh their God.
