Psalms 13
The AIT Bible
0 For the choirmaster. A psalm of David.
How Long, O Yahweh?
1 How long, Yahweh? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I hold counsels within my self, sorrow in my heart by day? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?
3 Look, answer me, Yahweh my God! Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
4 lest my enemy say, ‘I have overcome him,’ and my foes rejoice when I am shaken.
5 But as for me, I have trusted in your loyal love; my heart will rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to Yahweh, for he has dealt bountifully with me.
