The Exalted God Who Cares for the Lowly

1Praise Yah! Praise, O servants of Yahweh, praise the name of Yahweh!

2May the name of Yahweh be blessed, from now and forevermore.

3From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of Yahweh is to be praised.

4Exalted above all nations is Yahweh; above the heavens is his glory.

5Who is like Yahweh our God, who is enthroned on high,

6who stoops low to look upon the heavens and the earth?

7He raises the poor from the dust, from the ash heap he lifts the needy,

8to seat him with nobles, with the nobles of his people;

9who settles the barren woman in a home, a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!
