1Then Moses assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel and said to them, “These are the things that Yahweh has commanded, to do them:
2For six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day there shall be for you a holy thing, a sabbath of complete rest to Yahweh; anyone who does work on it shall be put to death.
3You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath day.”
4And Moses said to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, “This is the thing that Yahweh has commanded, saying:
5Take from among yourselves a contribution for Yahweh; everyone whose heart is willing, let him bring it—Yahweh’s contribution: gold, silver, and bronze;
6and blue, and purple, and scarlet of worm, and fine linen, and goats’ hair;
7and ram skins dyed red, and skins of tachash, and acacia wood;
8and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;
9and onyx stones and stones for setting for the ephod and for the breastpiece.
10And let every wise-hearted one among you come and make all that Yahweh has commanded:
11the dwelling place, its tent and its covering, its clasps and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases;
12the ark and its poles, the atonement cover, and the screening veil;
13the table and its poles and all its vessels, and the bread of the presence;
14and the lampstand for the light and its vessels and its lamps, and the oil for the light;
15and the altar of incense and its poles, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the doorway at the entrance of the dwelling place;
16the altar of burnt offering and its bronze grating, its poles and all its vessels, the basin and its stand;
17the hangings of the courtyard, its pillars and its bases, and the screen for the gate of the courtyard;
18the pegs of the dwelling place and the pegs of the courtyard, and their cords;
19the woven garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, for serving as priests.”
20Then all the congregation of the sons of Israel went out from before Moses.
21And they came, everyone whose heart lifted him and everyone whose spirit moved him to willingness, and brought Yahweh’s contribution for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments.
22So they came, the men along with the women; everyone of a willing heart brought brooches and earrings and rings and pendants, all kinds of gold objects—every man who presented a wave offering of gold to Yahweh.
23And every man with whom was found blue, purple, scarlet of worm, fine linen, goats’ hair, ram skins dyed red, or skins of tachash brought them.
24Everyone offering up a contribution of silver or bronze brought Yahweh’s contribution; and everyone with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service brought it.
25And every skilled-hearted woman spun with her hands, and they brought the spun material: the blue, and the purple, the scarlet of worm, and the fine linen.
26And all the women whose hearts lifted them in skill spun the goats’ hair.
27And the leaders brought the onyx stones and the stones for setting for the ephod and for the breastpiece,
28and the spice and the oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.
29Every man and woman whose heart moved them to willingness to bring something for all the work that Yahweh had commanded to be done through the hand of Moses—the sons of Israel brought a freewill offering to Yahweh.
30Then Moses said to the sons of Israel, “See, Yahweh has called by name Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,
31And he filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, and with knowledge, and with all kinds of craftsmanship,
32and to devise designs, to work in gold, in silver, and in bronze,
33and in the cutting of stones for setting, and in the carving of wood, to work in every kind of skilled craftsmanship.
34And he has put it in his heart to teach, both he and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
35He has filled them with skill of heart to do all the work of the engraver, the designer, and the embroiderer in blue, in purple, in crimson, and in fine linen, and of the weaver — makers of every kind of work and devisers of designs.
