Then Tobias called Raphael and said to him,
“Azariah, brother, take four servants and two camels with you, and travel to Rages. Proceed to Gabael and give him the written bond; collect the money, and bring him with you to the wedding feast.
And you see what Raguel has sworn, and I cannot break his oath.
For you know that my father will be counting the days, and if I delay even one day, I will grieve him greatly.”
So Raphael, the four servants, and the two camels went to Rages of Media, and they lodged with Gabael. Raphael gave him the written bond and informed him about Tobias son of Tobit—that he had taken a wife and was inviting him to the wedding feast. And Gabael got up, counted out for him the bags with their seals intact, and they loaded them up.
They rose early together and came to the wedding feast. They entered Raguel’s house and found Tobias reclining at the table. Tobias leaped up and greeted him, and Gabael wept and blessed him, saying, “Noble and good son of a noble and good, righteous, and charitable man! May the Lord give a blessing from heaven to you and your wife, and to your father and your wife’s mother. Blessed be God, for I have seen my kinsman Tobias, who is just like his father!”
