Psalms 130

The AIT Bible

A Cry from the Depths

1A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I call out to you, Yahweh.

2Lord, hear my voice; let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy.

3If you should keep watch over iniquities, Yah, Lord, who could stand?

4But with you there is forgiveness, so that you may be feared.

5I wait for Yahweh; my soul waits, and for his word I hope.

6My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, watchmen for the morning.

7Hope, Israel, in Yahweh, for with Yahweh there is loyal love, and with him is abundant redemption.

8And he himself will redeem Israel from all its iniquities.
