Psalms 110

The AIT Bible

The Enthroned King and Priest

1Of David. A psalm. The declaration of Yahweh to my lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

2Yahweh will extend the scepter of your strength from Zion: rule in the midst of your enemies.

3Your people offer themselves freely on the day of your power, in holy splendor; from the womb of the dawn, yours is the dew of your youth.

4Yahweh has sworn and will not relent: “You are a priest forever after the manner of Melchizedek.”

5The Lord is at your right hand; he shatters kings on the day of his wrath.

6He will judge among the nations, filling them with corpses; he shatters the head over a broad land.

7From a stream by the way he will drink; therefore he will lift up his head.
