Bildad on Human Frailty
1Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:
2Dominion and dread are with him; he makes peace in his heights.
3Is there any number to his troops? And upon whom does his light not rise?
4How then can a mortal be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure?
5Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes;
6how much less a mortal, a maggot, and a son of man, a worm!
