Exodus 37

The AIT Bible

Making the Ark of Testimony

And Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits was its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.

And he overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and he made for it a molding of gold all around.

And he cast for it four rings of gold on its four feet, two rings on its one side and two rings on its other side.

And he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.

And he brought the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark.

And he made a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits was its length, and a cubit and a half its width.

And he made two cherubim of gold; of hammered work he made them, from the two ends of the mercy seat,

one cherub from the end on this side and one cherub from the end on that side; from the mercy seat he made the cherubim, from its two ends.

And the cherubim were spreading out their wings upward, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another; toward the mercy seat were the faces of the cherubim.

Making the Table of Presence

And he made the table of acacia wood; two cubits was its length, a cubit its width, and a cubit and a half its height.

And he overlaid it with pure gold, and he made for it a molding of gold all around.

And he made for it a rim a handbreadth wide all around, and he made a molding of gold for its rim all around.

And he cast for it four rings of gold, and he set the rings on the four corners that were at its four legs.

Close by the rim were the rings, as holders for the poles to carry the table.

And he made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold, to carry the table.

And he made the vessels that were on the table—its plates, its dishes, its bowls, and its pitchers with which the drink offering was poured—of pure gold.

Making the Golden Lampstand

And he made the lampstand of pure gold; of hammered work he made the lampstand, its base and its shaft; its cups, its bulbs, and its blossoms were of one piece with it.

And six branches went out from its sides: three branches of the lampstand from its one side and three branches of the lampstand from its other side.

Three cups shaped like almond blossoms were on the one branch, with a bulb and a blossom, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the next branch, with a bulb and a blossom; so for the six branches going out from the lampstand.

And on the lampstand itself were four cups shaped like almond blossoms, with their bulbs and their blossoms:

a bulb under the first two branches of one piece with it, a bulb under the next two branches of one piece with it, and a bulb under the last two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out from it.

Their bulbs and their branches were of one piece with it; all of it was a single hammered work of pure gold.

And he made its seven lamps, and its tongs and its trays, of pure gold.

Of a talent of pure gold he made it, along with all its vessels.

Making the Altar of Incense

And he made the altar of incense of acacia wood; a cubit was its length and a cubit its width—square—and two cubits its height; its horns were of one piece with it.

And he overlaid it with pure gold, its top and its walls all around, and its horns; and he made for it a molding of gold all around.

And he made two rings of gold for it below its molding, on its two sides, on its two edges, as holders for the poles by which to carry it.

And he made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.

Making the Oil and Incense

And he made the holy anointing oil and the pure fragrant incense, the work of a perfumer.
