1And this is the law of the guilt offering. It is most holy.
2In the place where they slaughter the burnt offering they shall slaughter the guilt offering, and its blood he shall dash against the altar all around.
3And all its fat he shall present from it: the fat tail and the fat that covers the entrails,
4and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the lobe on the liver, which he shall remove along with the kidneys.
5And the priest shall turn them into smoke on the altar as a fire offering to Yahweh. It is a guilt offering.
6Every male among the priests may eat it. It shall be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.
7As the sin offering, so the guilt offering—there is one law for them. The priest who makes atonement with it, it shall be his.
8And the priest who presents a person’s burnt offering—the hide of the burnt offering that he has presented shall belong to the priest, to him.
9And every grain offering that is baked in the oven, and everything prepared in a pan or on a griddle, shall belong to the priest who presents it; it shall be his.
10And every grain offering mixed with oil or dry shall belong to all the sons of Aaron, to each alike.
11And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings that one presents to Yahweh.
12If he presents it for thanksgiving, then he shall present, along with the thanksgiving sacrifice, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes of fine flour well-soaked, mixed with oil.
13With cakes of leavened bread he shall present his offering, along with his thanksgiving sacrifice of peace offerings.
14And he shall present one of each offering as a contribution to Yahweh; it shall belong to the priest who dashes the blood of the peace offerings.
15And the flesh of his thanksgiving sacrifice of peace offerings shall be eaten on the day of his offering; he shall not leave any of it until morning.
16But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day he presents his sacrifice, and on the next day what is left of it may be eaten.
17But what is left of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned in the fire.
18And if any of the flesh of his sacrifice of peace offerings is eaten at all on the third day, it will not be accepted; it will not be credited to the one who presents it. It shall be foul, and the person who eats of it shall bear their own iniquity.
19And the flesh that touches anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned in the fire. As for the flesh, anyone who is clean may eat the flesh.
20But the person who eats flesh from the sacrifice of peace offerings that belongs to Yahweh while his uncleanness is upon him—that person shall be cut off from his people.
21And when a person touches anything unclean—whether human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean detestable thing—and then eats flesh from the sacrifice of peace offerings that belongs to Yahweh, that person shall be cut off from his people.
22And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
23Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: You shall not eat any fat of ox or sheep or goat.
24And the fat of an animal that dies of itself or the fat of one torn by beasts may be used for any work, but you shall certainly not eat it.
25For anyone who eats the fat of an animal from which a fire offering is presented to Yahweh—the person who eats it shall be cut off from his people.
26And you shall not eat any blood in any of your dwelling places, whether of bird or of animal.
27Any person who eats any blood—that person shall be cut off from his people.
28And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
29Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: The one who presents his sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh shall bring his offering to Yahweh from his sacrifice of peace offerings.
30His own hands shall bring the fire offerings of Yahweh. The fat, along with the breast, he shall bring—the breast, to wave it as a wave offering before Yahweh.
31The priest shall turn the fat into smoke on the altar, and the breast shall belong to Aaron and to his sons.
32And the right thigh you shall give as a contribution to the priest from your peace offerings.
33The one among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat, the right thigh shall be his as a portion.
34For the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution I have taken from the sons of Israel, from their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as a perpetual allotment from the sons of Israel.
35This is the portion of Aaron’s anointing and the portion of his sons’ anointing from the fire offerings of Yahweh, on the day he presented them to serve as priests to Yahweh,
36which Yahweh commanded to be given to them on the day he anointed them, from the sons of Israel; it is a perpetual statute throughout their generations.
37This is the instruction for the burnt offering, for the grain offering, and for the sin offering, and for the guilt offering, and for the ordination offering, and for the sacrifice of peace offerings,
38which Yahweh commanded Moses at Mount Sinai, on the day he commanded the sons of Israel to present their offerings to Yahweh in the wilderness of Sinai.
