1Masters, provide your slaves with what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
2Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving,
3praying at the same time also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also imprisoned,
4that I may make it clear, as I ought to speak.
5Walk in wisdom toward those outside, redeeming the time.
6Let your word always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
7Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant and fellow slave in the Lord, will make known to you all that concerns me,
8whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know the things about us and that he may encourage your hearts,
9along with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you everything here.
10Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you received instructions — if he comes to you, welcome him),
11and Jesus who is called Justus. These who are of the circumcision are my only fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.
12Epaphras, who is one of you, a slave of Christ Jesus, greets you, always striving on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.
13For I testify concerning him that he has much toil on behalf of you and those in Laodicea and those in Hierapolis.
14Luke, the beloved physician, greets you, and Demas.
15Greet the brothers in Laodicea, and Nympha and the church that meets in her house.
16And when this letter has been read among you, see that it is also read in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you also read the letter from Laodicea.
17And say to Archippus, “See to the ministry that you received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.”
