Do no evil, and evil will not overtake you; keep far from iniquity, and it will turn from you.

Do not reject an intelligent wife, for her grace is more valuable than pearls.
Do not mistreat a servant who works faithfully, nor a hired hand who gives his life to his work.
Love an intelligent servant as yourself, and do not withhold freedom from him.
If you have livestock, look after them; and if they are profitable, keep them.

If you have daughters, guard their bodies, and do not show them a cheerful face.
Marry off a daughter, and a great task is done; give her to an understanding man.
If you have a wife, do not despise her; but do not trust one you hate.
With all your heart honor your father, and do not forget the mother who bore you.
Remember that you were born through them; what can you give back to them for what they have given you?
With all your soul fear God, and hold his priests in honor.
With all your might love your Maker, and do not forsake his ministers.
Honor God and glorify the priest, and give him his portion as you were commanded.
